Brewery Operations Assistant : Crooked Mile Brewing Co
We’re Growing!
Crooked Mile is looking for a full-time Brewery Operations Assistant.
Can you brew a pretty mean ale? Do you have a solid understanding of the brewing process?
If so, let’s talk. We’re a start-up microbrewery in Almonte, Ontario that is growing. We’re looking for someone who’s not only passionate about craft beer but is just as passionate about sharing that knowledge with others.
Responsibilities:
You will be working with our head brewer in all aspects of brewing production; including recipe development, brewing, cleaning, packaging, inventory management, recordkeeping, quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other tasks related to brewing operations as required. Occasional work in the retail space and local events may be required but is not the primary focus of this position.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience brewing quality beer either as a homebrewer or on a commercial system.
• You’re a team player with formidable communication skills and aren’t afraid to bring ideas to the table.
• Your conscientiousness means you’re productive and efficient at the work you do.
• You don’t miss the details and really like cleaning. In fact, you’re meticulous about it. Cause let’s face it, that’s mostly what brewers do.
• Being mechanically inclined is a benefit.
• This is a physically demanding position and you must be able to lift a minimum of 25 kg (55 lbs) and follow proper workplace safety practices.
• Top notch customer service skills.
• You have at least two years of previous retail or service experience.
• You have your Smart Serve Certificate.
Please send all inquiries/resumes to info@crookedmile.ca
Only candidates being considered will be contacted.
